Intrínseca, which, according to the Brazilian press, paid US$780,000 for the trilogy at auction, has initiated sales in all major national bookshop chains in a rush to profit from the huge buzz surrounding the series. The first of the three volumes, Fifty Shades of Grey, will reach readers on August first, with a print run of 200,000 copies. The second, Fifty Shades Darker, will be released on September 15th, and the last, Fifty Shades Freed, will be ready on November first. All will be available in print and digital formats.
