Southern Brazilian Bookstore Chain Livrarias Curitiba Goes Digital

Xeriph Brazil

Livrarias Curitiba is the fifth largest bookstore chain in Brazil, with 18 stores located mainly in southern Brazil. Last month, they quietly launched their e-bookstore, powered by Xeriph, the first indigenous e-book distributor in operation in Brazil. After Saraiva and Livraria Cultura, they are the third Brazilian bricks-and-mortar chain to enter the e-book market, but the first one to use feeds from a local e-book distributor. They are offering around 1,000 digital titles.
